Occupational Therapy

Aurore’s team of occupational therapists help children reach their full potential through therapies designed to allow children develop their abilities in play, school and leisure time. Our purpose is to provide a high quality personalised friendly and informed development programme within a structured play environment where the child can learn to face the challenges of daily living and bring their abilities to the optimum potential.

Occupational Therapy plays a role in helping a child and their families adapt to the resulting physical, psychological or learning challenges such conditions can impose on everyday life. Our therapeutic systems help children improve their gross motor (balance, postural control and coordination) and fine motor skills (bilateral hand use, manipulation and dexterity), as well as self care skills such as dressing and feeding, functional classroom skills like handwriting, and overall social interactions.

This holistic approach is what makes OT a vital part of health care for many kids.
